Fly away flamingos

Light and shade, shadows and reflections. The mating season is almost here so the colours of the greater flamingo are gradually getting deeper and brighter. After a long wait in the cold, the magic of Camargue took over the Parc Ornithologique du Pont de Gau. The sun set about 5.20pm and the last flocks took off overhead in an orange and purple sky..
