Early evening in flamingo country

A walk in Camargue at the end of the day is more than welcome to rejuvenate after tough, busy times.
The sky, even with thick floating clouds, the endless waters and the flamingos, bathing and preening themselves before taking off towards their chosen night sanctuaries magnetize the eye and enhance the scenery.
Spotted redshank, greenshank, moorhen, mallards and teals, common snipe, curlew... Plenty to see that evening for expert and non-expert birdwatchers and lingering gazers in the hypnotizing setting of the Parc Ornithologique du Pont de Gau nature reserve.
