Bee-eaters and grey skies
The European bee-eater (Mérops apiaster), an amazing glider as it hunts its prey overhead (bees but also dragonflies, grasshoppers and butterflies among others) is a challenge for the photographer without a hide. Another grey and sultry morning but the effort was rewarded... a family of bee-eaters having breakfast!
