June is a good time to seek cooler climes in the Cévennes for those of us who live near Nîmes. From the Corniche des Cévennes to Florac, roadsides and woodland footpaths are a festival of wild orchids and flowering hay meadows unfold in many an open space. An immersion in the ingenuous charm of the area and plenty of invigorating fresh air!
