Around the Supermoon

The beaver supermoon, the largest supermoon of the year, was supposed to be visible on 5 and 6/11/2025. But here near Nîmes, it played hide-and-seek in a more or less cloudy sky. No chance to see it in a blue sky at 14h19 on 5 November and no huge orange balloon on the eastern horizon that evening. Luckily, I'd been outside earlier that morning to test a few camera settings...
Photos taken between 6:12am and 6:28am on 5 November 2025
Photos at "sunset", 5:48pm, 5/11/25. Just as many clouds on the eastern horizon as here on the western horizon, so no supermoon!
Finally, the clouds dissipated a bit between 8pm and 8:16pm, 5/11/25
